Our Youth Assistance Program offers vital support to families seeking positive guidance for children and teens ages 3-17. Referrals to our program typically come through trusted partners like school counselors, social workers, the prosecutor’s office, and other local agencies dedicated to youth well-being. If you believe our program could benefit your child, reach out to their school counselor to initiate the referral process.
A passcode is required to make a referral. For assistance with obtaining a passcode, please contact your local Youth Assistance Program office or email the program Director, Tricia Akers, at tricia.akers@hamiltoncounty.in.gov.
Have questions about a referral you’ve already made? Our Early Intervention Advocates are here to help. Visit our Contact Us page to find the Advocate for your area or reach out to Tricia Akers directly. Together, we can support the growth and success of Hamilton County’s youth.
