Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. Fishers Youth Assistance is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your contribution is 100% tax-deductible.
How does FYA differ from the Fishers Youth Initiative (FYI)?
FYI focuses primarily on group-level, foundation-building HSE student programs, such as addressing childhood food insecurity through summer meals and weekly backpacks, as well as matching kids with school-based mentors. FYA is a highly specialized family advocacy program. We work one-on-one with families in complex crises, coordinating access to specialized resources like tutoring, professional mental health care, and emergency support.
Do you work with other local charities?
Yes, constantly. We do not compete with or duplicate the efforts of other local nonprofits—we coordinate with them. We collaborate deeply with HSE schools, local churches, township trustees, and other regional nonprofits to ensure families can access every community tool available.
