Fishers, IN – Fishers Youth Assistance Program (FYAP) is calling on the community to help make the 2024 holiday season special for local families through its annual Holiday Helpers program. FYAP, known for providing essential services such as meals, snacks, tutoring, and access to recreational activities for families in need, is once again reaching out to the community for support in providing holiday gifts for children.

Thanks to the generosity of past donors, FYAP has been able to brighten the holidays for many families, and the organization is eager to continue that tradition. Community members who wish to participate as sponsors can register online using this form. Sponsors are asked to budget at least $10 per child to provide 3-5 gifts, including items like clothing and books. FYAP also invites sponsors to consider fulfilling a specific need requested by the family they adopt, though it is not required.

To ensure the health and safety of the children and families, FYAP asks that all gifts be newly purchased, and due to allergies, no homemade items should be included. Donated gifts will need to be delivered to the FYAP office between December 9th and 17th, 2024.
